Latoya Comer is a dedicated educator and advocate for children, bringing over 12 years of combined experience supporting learners across a variety of settings. Her work has been deeply rooted in serving students with diverse abilities, where she has consistently focused on creating inclusive, supportive, and meaningful learning experiences.
Latoya holds an Associate of Applied Science in Speech-Language Pathology, a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics, and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Special Education. She also holds an Early Childhood Credential for the state of North Carolina, further strengthening her expertise in early learning and child development.
In addition to her role as an educator, Latoya has served for over a decade as a Community Skills Specialist with the Autism Society of North Carolina. Through this work, she has supported children and families in developing essential life and social skills, fostering independence, confidence, and growth beyond the classroom.
